We are so excited to share our love of food culture with you!
We believe that great food and service unite the community to make lasting memories.
There is nothing we love more than finding a new restaurant in a quaint little town with a chef who creates not just a great dish, but an experience for us to enjoy together. That is what we set out to do back in 2018 when we launched A Taste of Plain Catering as a way to serve our community.

Chef Nick has been in the culinary world for over 15 years. After graduation, he worked his way from prep cook to owning a Mexican restaurant. That experience launched him into the catering world, where he found his true love and passion in creating exciting menus for clients for their special events.
After moving from northern California, he arrived in the Plain Valley, working as the executive chef at Mountain Springs Lodge, where he met my wife, Jamie. And from there, the rest is

​We had A Taste of Plain cater our 30-person wedding in Leavenworth and it was a hit! Everyone LOVED the food! The ordering process was simple. We selected the BBQ chicken, potatoes, cornbread, Brussels sprouts and coleslaw. I honestly can't tell you which item was my favorite because it was all so good. Highly recommend!​

Nick and Jamie are amazing!
I recently just used them for a small wedding I had in Plain and definitely did not disappoint.
Their food was so delicious and incredible! We had smoked salmon, grilled shrimp, grilled veggies, garlic mashed potatoes, bread and even a charcuterie appetizer board!
All the food was to die for and even great as leftovers the next night!
