We are so excited to share our love of food culture with you!
We believe that great food and service unite the community to make lasting memories.
There is nothing we love more than finding a new restaurant in a quaint little town with a chef who creates not just a great dish, but an experience for us to enjoy together. That is what we set out to do back in 2018 when we launched A Taste of Plain Catering as a way to serve our community.

Chef Nick has been in the culinary world for over 15 years. After graduation, he worked his way from prep cook to owning a Mexican restaurant. That experience launched him into the catering world, where he found his true love and passion in creating exciting menus for clients for their special events.
After moving from northern California, he arrived in the Plain Valley, working as the executive chef at Mountain Springs Lodge, where he met my wife, Jamie. And from there, the rest is

​We had A Taste of Plain cater our 30-person wedding in Leavenworth and it was a hit! Everyone LOVED the food! The ordering process was simple, and the food delivery and equipment was on time. We selected the BBQ chicken, potatoes, cornbread, Brussels sprouts and coleslaw. I honestly can't tell you which item was my favorite because it was all so good. Highly recommend!​

Ordered a drop off buffet meal from Taste of Plain for a Bachelorette party in Leavenworth this weekend. ToP did an incredible job - the tacos and chips + guac were delicious and an absolute hit with the group! Communication was clear, and food drop off was timely. Thank you for an amazing meal!
